Now Serving

A mentor once posed the question, “If you squeeze a lemon you get lemon juice, if you squeeze an Alex Mora, what's the juice?”

Well here you have it...

Mora, in Spanish means blackberry.

So quite literally this Blackberry juice is 100% all natural. That is to say it is wholly derived from nature– my nature as a queer, first generation Mexican-American born and raised in Los Angeles. It is aged in culture– art, fashion, language, and highly values the sensory experience. Bold with a strong finish, it has rich color, interesting type, evocative copy, and is best used to relieve some cultural pains by elevating perspectives. Excellent for storytelling and prompting reflection. This juice can be heady and thrown down with other polyglots, but is unpretentious and pairs well in just about any environment.

Generations

Born in Los Angeles, Alex grew up in an intense and culturally rich family of newly emigrated Mexicans, absolutely drenched in pride. Spanish is her first language, and language and culture is her bedrock. Alex’s family took this approach passionately, and quickly grew a highly successful Spanish language advertising agency, which targeted the Hispanic Market in Los Angeles. Naturally, Alex grew up paying close attention to which brands got you to look, think, who was just selling, and who was inspiring so much more, launching her determination to take it further.

  • Alex is currently living in Los Angeles, California with her spouse, two afghan hounds, four cats and new toddler. There she is thoroughly enjoying navigating life as a "later in life," full-time student at ArtCenter College of Design and a first-time parent.
